摘要
从我国湖北省武汉东湖土壤中分离到一株链霉菌，编号ＳＩＩＡ９２６８，其代谢产物具有免疫抑制作用，经鉴别活性物质与Ｒａｐａｍｙｃｉｎ为同一物质。该菌株在形态培养特征和生理生化特征上与已知的吸水链霉菌相似，但又有一定的差别，故定名为吸水链霉菌东湖变种（Ｓｔｒｅｐｔｏ－ｍｙｃｅｓｈｙｇｒｏｓｃｏｐｉｃｕｓｄｏｎｇｈｕｅｎｓｉｓＳＩＩＡ９２６８）。
A strain SIIA9268 isolated from soil samples collected in
Wuhan,Hubei province of China has been found to produce immunosu-ppressant compound
and the properties of this active compound appears to be identical with Rapamycin. This
producing strain is similar to kno-wn Streptomyces hygroscopicus Rapamycin-produing
AYB-994 and Lono-mycin-producing strain SIPI-A4-0040,but still has some differences in
cultural and physiolgical characteristics.Therefore,it was named Strep-tomyces hygroscopicus
donghusis SIIA 9268.
