The Development of the Concept of Competition and the Competitive Situation in Library Field

竞争观念的演进,拓展了对图书馆竞争研究的视角。文章从五个方面分析了新技术环境下图书馆所面临的竞争态势,提出了图书馆应对竞争的态度:正视竞争的存在、构建核心竞争力、开展合作竞争。

The development of the concept of competition extended the research on library competi- tion.This paper analyzes the competitive situation libraries confront with in a new technology environ- ment,and suggests the attitude libraries should adopt in response to the competition:to envisage the exis- tence of competition,to build core competitiveness,and to conduct collaborative competition.
