摘要
量子电动力学(QED)的实验检验一直是e+e-对撞机上的重要物理工作之一.在Z0共振峰附近(88~94GeV),e+e→γγ是最干净的QED过程.LEP四个实验组通过这一过程分别对QED进行了实验检验,证明在迄今人们所能达到的e+e-对撞最高质心系能量下,QED仍然很好地描述e+e-→γγ过程,即在2×10-16cm线度内,QED仍然成立.我们参加了L3国际合作组的工作,在国内分析了1990年、1991年L3的物理数据,本文报告我们的分析方法和结果.
Experimental testing of quantum electrodynamics(QED) has always been important work on e+e- colliders. At Z0 pole (88~94GeV) e+e→γγ process is the cleanest QED process, through which four LEP experiment teams performed their tests on QED. It is proved that at the highest centre of mass energy ever reached so far via e+e- collision, QED still well discribes the process e+e→γγ,i. e., QED holds down to a dimension of 2 ×10-16cm.
