Preliminary Exploration into the English Vocabulary Teaching

文章通过对本科一年级学生的一次调查,收集了学生在英语词汇学习中的一些问题,主要有词汇的发音、词汇记忆、词汇运用及自信心等问题,继而从学生。

This paper discusses the main problems in the learning of English vocabulary at university level.Voˉcabulary is an important element in the study of English and has caused many difficulties in the teaching and learning of English for quite some time.This paper investigates the main problems in the acquisition of English vocabulary aˉmong the first year students who entered Changzhi Medical College in2003.Investigation results reveal that among the numerous problems in the learning of vocabulary the main ones are in pronunciation,retention,application and self-confidence.Then,this paper analyzes the problems from the perspective of both the student and the teacher and proposes some corresponding solutions.
