Butylbenzyl phthalate (BBP) is a worldly organic pollution's substance, which is mass produced and wildly used. The ecological environments of human were threatened by BBP as an environmental hormone and attracted more and more attention of experts. This paper summarized about BBP within relevant environments study the general situation, mainly including the physics and chemistry property, origin, toxicology and biologic degradation.
