摘要
研究了基于运动补偿的多级矢量量化编码方法.针对传统算法编码质量较低的问题,在保持量化器结构不变的情况下,借鉴维特比编码方式,提出多级矢量量化联合编码算法,并采用部分失真快速码字搜索算法提高编码速度.仿真实验表明,与传统MSVQ算法相比,本算法不仅提高了编码图像的质量,而且降低了编码速率.
This paper thoroughly discusses the multistage VQ video compression algorithm based on motion compensation. In allusion to the problem of poor decoded image quality caused by the traditional algorithm, the author proposes a joint-stage code search algorithm by reference of viterbi coding, while keeping the vector quantizer unchanged. The combination with partial distortion search helps to expedite the coding process. The experiment results demonstrate that this algorithm can effectively enhance the fidelity of the coded image, and in addition, reduce the coding bit-rate.
