Intellectuals werescreened with routine medical examination. The result sug-gested that those
individuals whose ocular fundus present-ed atherosclerosis were more probable to suffer with
hyper-tension , hyperlipemia ,senile ring than those without suchlesion(p<0. 01).The finding of
atherosclersis in ocularfundus may be used to direct the diagnosis and treatment ofhypertension
and hyperlipemia.
