There are abundant animal species, large animal quantity and rich genetic diversity in Meihuashan National Nature Reserve. The paper introduces the wild animal species, protected animals, animal species with economic value, wild fauna features, present protection condition, existing problems; while it also gives advice on utilization, exploration, domestication, propagation as well as countermeasures for the protection in the future.
