援越抗法与抗美援朝战略抉择的共同性

On the Identical Factors between the Strategic Decision-making for Aiding Vietnam to Resist French Invasion and the One for Aiding Korea to Resist American Invasion

立国之初,新中国就被迫面对两场大规模的境外战争:印支半岛的越南抗法战争和在朝鲜半岛的朝鲜战争。两场战争都是冷战体制下的产物,不仅影响了新中国的地缘政治,还严重威胁着中国的独立与安全。新中国考虑到世界格局的性质和自己在世界格局中的位置,亟需捍卫自己的利益;另外,从中国共产党自身和国际共产主义运动的发展来看,新中国应该积极履行自己的国际主义义务,支持兄弟国家的民主民族斗争。这两方面因素最终使中国选择了援越抗法和抗美援朝。

The People's Republic of China had to face up two massive wars beyond its borderland shortly after gaining its nationhood. One is Vietnam Resisting France War on the Indo-Chinese Peninsula and the other is Korea Resisting America War on the Korean Peninsula. As an outgrowth of the cold war system, these two wars not only affected geopolitical and historical factors of China, but also threatened the independence and security of China greatly. Taking the international situation and its position in the world setup into account, the People's Republic of China decided to guard its national interest. Besides, in behalf of the development of Chinese Communist Party and the International Communistic Campaign, the government of China would perform its international obligation to support its neighbor's democratic and national revolution. The strategic decision-making of aiding Korea to resist America and aiding Vietnam to resist France were both on the basis of these two foregoing factors.
