Research of Improving the Performance of Network Storage Systems Based on VI

我们利用基于VI的互连结构建立了一种新型的网络存储结构VISA。本文在基于软件VIA的实现原型MVM的基础上,利用通用网络部件,提出了自己的远程DMA实现方法,证实了远程DMA机制可以有效提高VISA的网络传输性能。

We have built a new network storage architecture VISA based on the interconnection of VI. This paper provides an implementation of RDMA based on MVIA developed by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and verifies that the method of data transmission with the RDMA mechanism can improve the performance of network transportation of VISA effectively.
