Salute to Mine Administrators

引言 矿产资源是人类赖以生存和发展的物质基础,是全人类共有的一笑巨大财富.

Since 1980's, with the economic transformation started in China, and mining rights permitted collective- or individual-owned, the mining industry order were in chaos, disorder and excessive mining activities were rampant, in which Xiaoqinling Gold Mine as a typical, the surrounding ecological environment had seriously damaged. Through the improvement and rectification of Xiaoqinling Gold Mine in 1995, the State Council at once decided to carry out national improvement and rectification of mining order. Then in 1998, Minister of Land and Resources was established. After more than 6 years, the improvement and rectification work have achieved fruitful results, which are closely related with the work of mine administrators in the basic level. With their brave to illegal miners and loyal to their duty, they use their whole life to protect the wealth of the state and to guard the sanctity of the law. Yan Daoqiang, a common mine administrator in the basic level, is a model, who died from a fight with an illegal miner. So we should salute to all mine administrators in the basic level.
