Evolution and Practice about Ancient China's Moral Administration

中国古代德治思想从产生到发展,从萌芽到建立起完整的理论体系,不仅在理论上伴随着历史的脚步不断演进,而且在实践中也得到了广泛推行。尽管具有不可克服的历史和阶级的局限性,但它对封建统治者却具有约束和警示的作用,并在封建制度所能允许的范围内保护了下层民众的利益。同时,客观上对于中华民族注重道德理想、形成礼仪之邦亦产生了积极的作用,为今天“以德治国”方略的实施培育了肥沃的土壤。

The ancient China's thought of moral administration, from its beginning to its formal establishment, not only developed continuously with history theoretically, but also was widely spread practically. Although the ancient China's thought of moral administration showed its own historical and periodical limitation in both theory and practice, it could alert the feudal governors to control and restrict themselves, meanwhile, to some extent ,it might help to protect the interests of the lower masses. And in an objective way, the thought of moral administration has played a positive role in both promoting Chinese people's moral minds and building a country with good manners and good customs, furthermore, it would help to put into effect today's strategy 'Administering Country with Morals'.
