本文对近年来图书馆学情报学学科的理论前沿,进行了全方位的扫描。从基础理论研究领域的扩张;数字图书馆的建设与研究渐成规模;引进多种分析方法;理论视野的拓展;学术交流面规模的扩大;学科格局渐趋完整等六个方面进行了理论性的阐述。

This paper undertakes an overall scan of the frontier theories of library science and informatics which have been put forward in recent years. It offers a theoretical elaboration of six aspects which are as follows; expansion of basic theory research realm; gradual maturity of digitalized library; introduction of various analyzing methods; extension of theoretical visions; growing scale of academic exchanges; and gradual perfection of disciplinary set - up.
