Discussion on the Effect of the Economic Growth from the Angle of Happiness

人类内心最渴望的是快乐,那么经济增长究竟能否给人类带来快乐、能带来什么快乐呢?分析了济增长与快乐的关系,指出经济增长虽然不一定给人类个体带来快乐,但有助于人类的长期快乐,因而应一如既往地发展经济,寻求增长与快乐的最佳配置。

It is the happiness that the human kind truly want. So, could the economic growth on earth make the human kind happy? And what is the kind of happy? This article analyzed the relationship between economic growth and happiness and pointed out that economic growth is uncertain in bringing an individual happiness, but it can bring the human kind happiness. And the conclusion of these analyses was that people should work hard for economic growth like before to seek the optimum disposition between the growth and the happiness.
