翻译类型问题的归结

针对翻译理论界将翻译进行过度切分,以致将翻译研究拖入困境的状况,提倡翻译学的归结主义方法。这一方法要求将貌似杂乱的现象进行整合,朝纵深处探究、考察,以找出翻译作为客观存在的内在统一性为最终目的。从语言和文本两个层面论述了归结主义方法的理论根据,认为任何翻译问题其根本都是语言形式与功能之间的张力,因此不宜把翻译肢解得支离破碎,而应在适当分类的基础上进行整合。

Faced with the situation that translation has been so split that research of translation has met a dilemma, this paper proposes a reductionist approach to translatology, which requires integration of seemingly complicated phenomena so as to explore into greater depth to find a solution to the unification problem of translation as an objective ontic entity. This paper elaborates on the theoretic motivation of reductionism from the typology of language and text, holding that any problem of translation can be reduced to the tension between the form and function of language. Therefore it is improper to dismember and maim translation but integrate it not without proper classification though.
