Different target has different DEMON spectrum. Based on this characteristic, a new method to estimate the direction of two different targets is brought forward in this paper, which can efficiently suppress both coherent and un-coherent interferences. The method uses a single vector hydrophone and demonstrates the ability of such single hydrophone to identify multi-targets. The principle of DOA estimation based on the DEMON spectrum is specified; The method to pick-up the axial frequency and to identify the DEMON spectra belonging to two targets is given; The capability of identifying two different targets based on the DEMON spectrum is analyzed.
