Information Based Fisheries and Fisheries Sustainable Development

我国渔业在国家产业政策和渔业科技进步的推动下,目前处于高速发展期。但在高速发展的同时,也出现了近海渔业资源衰竭、养殖病害严重、水域生态环境破坏等一系列问题。因此,中国渔业在今后相当长的一段时期内需要进行产业结构调整,使其逐步进入一个“高效率、低消耗、无公害、高质量”良性循环的可持续发展的新阶段。实现渔业信息化就有可能从根本上避免现代化给资源环境带来的重大压力。渔业信息化建设主要包括渔业生产要素信息化、渔业生产过程信息化、渔业管理信息化。现阶段的主要任务是:渔业信息标准化及渔业基础资源信息平台建设、渔业资源环境监测预警技术应用研究以及渔业信息服务综合配套技术应用研究等。

China fisheries have made great progress over the last decade with the help of the state policies and science & technologies. However, it is also faced with a series of problems such as the resource decline, disease spread and environment pollution. As a result, it is necessary to restructure the industry in order to make it more efficient, lower material and energy consuming, more environmental friendly and higher in product quality. Information based fisheries can achieve this goal as they aim to best production with most economically consuming the resources and environment. Three aspects are considered most important in construction of information based fisheries: fisheries resources, production technologies and fisheries management. At the moment, the key tasks that need to be carried out include formulation of the criteria, construction of information infrastructure, building of monitoring and warning system on fisheries resources and environment, and various comprehensive information based technologies.
