摘要
利用二维模型,对固体激光器中侧面双向泵浦板状激光介质的热效应进行了理论分析,重点研究了介质热物性的温度依存性对其最高温度和最大应力的影响,给出了一种计算介质内最高温度和最大应力的简便方法,并与数值模拟结果进行了对比。结果表明,不考虑介质热物性随温度的变化,将导致计算结果特别是热应力结果偏小。考虑介质热物性随温度的变化时,应用本文提出的简便方法计算得到的最高温度和最大应力与数值模拟结果基本吻合.
Theoretical analysis is conducted on the thermal effects of a high-power both sides pumped laser slab used in a solid-state laser using a two-dimensional model. The emphasis is put on the effects of the temperature dependence of the thermophysical properties on the highest temperature and maximum thermal stress of the slab, and a simplified method for calculating the highest temperature and maximum thermal stress is provided, comparison is made with the finite element analysis. Researches reveal that neglecting of the temperature dependence of the physical properties will lead to an underestimation of the thermal effects; this is especially true for the thermal stress. With consideration of the temperature dependence of the thermophysical properties, the highest temperature and maximum thermal stress calculated using the method we have proposed agree with those generated by the numerical simulations.
