Lyrics as Rhetoric——LIN Hui-yin' s Achievement of Poems and Her Role in the History of Modern Chinese Literature

林徽因的诗歌创作及其感情故事在中国可谓家喻户晓,但却扑朔迷离,众说纷纭。文章结合林徽因的文学理念,对其感情脉络的发展与其诗歌创作两个重要时段的密切联系进行了详细的论析,以此探寻其诗之"核"所具有的经久不衰的魅力与价值。文章指出,依照20世纪语言学转向后的理论来看,林徽因的创作原本是作为修辞的抒情。认为林诗将抒情写景与述事浸融一处,从而将个人的生命体验转化为公众的情感话语,使抒述个我情怀的诗篇具有了超越时空的普遍意义,为当下的诗歌创作提供了启示。

In China, LIN Huiyin's poetic composition and her love stories are widely known, yet complicated and confusing, and have incurred various interpretations. This paper points out that, according to theories after the linguistic turn in the 20th century, LIN's poems are in fact lyrics as rhetoric. This paper analyzes, with reference to LIN's literary conceptions, the close connection between her emotional development and two important time periods in her poetic creation, in order to seek the latent emotional 'core' and the enduring charm and significance that originate from it. LIN's work combines love narratives and the descriptions of feelings and sceneries, which transforms her personal experience into a public discourse of emotions, endows her individual lyrics with universal significance that transcends time and space, and provides inspirations and models for contemporary poetic composition.
