Research progress of sarpogrelate, a novel 5-HT_2 receptor antagonist on vascular system

盐酸沙格雷酯(sarpogrelate hydrochloride,安步乐克)是新上市的5-HT_2受体阻滞剂,其可能通过维持血管内皮细胞完整、防止血管平滑肌细胞增殖等对血管相关疾病具有重要作用。综述近几年来安步乐克对血管系统作用方面的研究,并讨论其作用特点及可能的作用机制。

Sarpogrelate hydrochloride is a novel 5-HT_2 receptor antagonist, which inhibits the 5-HT induced platelet aggregation, vasoconstriction and vascular smooth muscle proliferation, and improves the microcirculation in coronary artery disease (CAD). Sarpogrelate has been found to have beneficial effects in cardiovascular diseases, such as peripheral vascular disease, restenosis after coronary stunting,pulmonary hypertension, and acute and chronic myocardial infarction. The paper is focused on potentials of sarpogrelate as an agent against vascular diseases together with its pharmacological mechanism.
