The temperature logging tool with record storage is a kind of downhole thermodetector designed for temperature logging in water injection wells. With it the water injection profile and the sealing property of the downhole packers in working conditions can be obtained qualitively. This paper focuses on the principle and characters of the structure of the tool as well as the measures and methods for preventing the signals of casing collars from being omitted in logging curves. In addition, the logging curves obtained from field sites with the temperature logging tool are analyzed and evaluated.
