评述了世界蜂王浆及其制品各主要生产国（中、日、保、西班牙、苏俄、意、波、加）产品的化学成分和分析方法研究的进展，尤其对我国的生产和研究工作提出了关键性意见。引文６３篇。文献收集至１９９４年。由于蜂王浆及其加工品在食用和医用上的重要价值，由于我国居于世界上的上要出口国地位，因此对其功用、化学成分、质量监测、有效成分分离、提纯现状进行评述十分有益。
