摘要
严复认为清末处在宗法社会向军国社会的过渡之中。这一性质决定了中国历史的许多特点。本文的论述仅限于政治和经济两方面。中西对比可能是认识中国历史的特点的最佳方法。
YanFu thought that the end of Qing Dynasty was in a transitional period from tribal society to country society. This fact determined many features of Chinese history. This article's discussion is limited in political and economic fields. Probably the contrast between Chinese and Western is the best approach to understand Chinese history features.
