The basic idea and layer architecture of OGSA is introduced, OGSI that is the kernel specification is discussed, the disadvantage of OGSI combining grid with Web Service is indicated. WS-resource framework (WSRF) is the newest core specification of OGSA. WSRF thinks that resource has the state and the service has no state. WSRF constructs model for stateful resources with Web services resource approach. WS-notification specification is analyzed, etc. And the relationship between WSRF and the OGSI is discussed, the convergence of grid and Web services is realized.
