Poetic Theme and Musicality of Poe’s Poetry

爱伦·坡的文学创作涉及小说、诗歌和文学理论,其中小说和文学理论对后世的影响很大:他的小说开创了后世的推理侦探、怪诞小说;他的文学理论影响了后世的象征主义与唯美主义。在国内对坡的研究中,诗歌较少被论及。本文拟从诗歌主题方面来分析坡的诗情,从文体学的角度来分析坡的诗歌技巧。

As an American writer in the early 19th century, Edgar Allan Poe now becomes very influential. Recently, he has been much researched upon in terms of his novels and literary theory. His novels are generally acknowledged to set the ground for detective novels and mystery stories; his literary theory leaves its impact on later literary theories, such as symbolism and aestheticism. Yet there is not much research on Poe's poetry in China. This paper is a try to reveal Poe's poetic sentiments from the themes of his poems and to illustrate the musicality of Poe's poetry from the perspective of literary stylistics.
