Analysis of Piano Sonata Style between Beethoven and Schubert

贝多芬和舒伯特都对钢琴奏鸣曲情有独钟,他们都曾写出了辉煌的作品。他们虽然是同时代人,但由于社会变迁及个人思想、性格、经历、和地位的不同,使各自的作品都具有明显的特征。贝多芬是英雄精神的显赫歌手,又是与命运斗争的英雄,他还是一位伟大的孤独者,他突出的个性反映在他的奏鸣曲中;舒伯特的钢琴奏鸣曲有着许多迷人的乐章,旋律宽广流畅,极富抒情性。

Both Beethoven and Schebert had special attachment to piano sonata and they had composed brilliant music. Due to social changes and their different ideas, personatities, experiences and social status, they separately had noticeable characteristics in their works, though they were in the same times. Beethoven was a famous singer full of heroic spirit and a great isolato, whose prominent personality was perfectly reflected in his sonata while Schubert's sonata was more attractive music with broad and smooth melody and full of emotion.
