The big maternal family and Axia Marriage of Mosuo people in Yongning are not only the product of their unique history and culture as well as their unique living surroundings, but are in line with the realistic productiveness and economy development level of theirs, which currently has stronger vitality. In today’s social-economy development in the Lugu Lake areas, we should put emphasis on the task to conserve Mosuo people’s traditional customs and their eco-environment and develop vigorously tourism resources enriched in the Lugu Lake areas, and to realize the mutual promotion between the protection of nationality’s culture and social-economy development.
