Mi Yulin,Who Creates a Legend for Modern Workers with Knowledge

1972年，米钰林初中毕业下乡，4年之后进入四川维尼纶厂(以下简称川维厂)乙炔车间当工人，被分配去学习操作天然气制乙炔裂解装置。

Mi Yulin,an ordinary worker in SINOPEC Sichuan Vinylon Works where he devotes in high spirit his life to his career as a technician-worker,has worked diligently in the workshop for 28 years,overcame technical difficulties,carried out technological reforms,mastered advanced technology,trained 34 apprentice workers into skilful technicians,proposed 52 reasonable suggestions, lengthened the life-span of some chemical functioning cycle of acetylene device from 45 days to 231 days,which resulted in increasing a benefit of 7.8 million yuan for the enterprise in the past three years.He became a senior technician with much respect from his fellows and even the foreign engineers who designed the equipments he runs. As an outstanding model of working-class of today,Mi Yulin was awarded the National May Day Labor Medal,the National Crackajack at Technical Innovation and the Chongqing Knowledge-Typed Worker in 2004,and CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee and SINOPEC decided that Chongqing working-class should learn from him for his spirit of devotion to enterprise.
