组播可以实现点到多点 ,多点到多点的高效数据传送。MPLS被认为是继ATM /FR之后的下一代广域网路由平台 ,考虑如何在MPLS上实现组播具有重要意义 。

Multicast is an efficient technology for point-to-multipoint and multipoint-to-multipoint data traffic. MPLS is considered a backbone technology of next generation network. To study the application of IP multicast over MPLS is significant. An algorithm of MPLS-Based multicast is proposed in this paper.
