The Southern and Northern Dynasties is an important development stage of literary theory in Chinese ancient history. In those days,the distinctive literary theories,which are rich in national traits,have gradually matured,passing through the three stages of budding,initiating and developing,and have achieved howling success. From the three aspects,the article discusses the development and success about the Chinese ancient literary theories of the history period (Southern and Northern Dynasties).
