论英汉色彩词内涵意义之对比

On Contrast Connotations of Color Words with English and Chinese

由于历史背景、语言习惯、文化底蕴及传统习俗等方面的差异,英汉两种语言中色彩词的用法有很多不同,对同一色彩词的理解也有很大差异.本文对英汉两种语言中常用色彩词的内涵意义进行了对比,以谋求对色彩词更准确的翻译和欣赏.

Due to different historical backgrounds (language habits, cultural details and traditional customs and so on, there are many differences in the use of colors and color words as well as in the understanding and mastering of the same color between Chinese and English. This paper discusses the connotations of some common color words in Chinese and English language by means of contrast,aimed at translating and appreciating them more correctly and exactly.
