盘尾丝虫病农村高流行地区和城市低流行地区的眼压状况(英文)

摘要 目的:比较盘尾丝虫病高流行地区和低流行地区的眼压分布状况。方法:用多级分组随机采样方法从2个盘尾丝虫病农村高流行地区选择调查对象,检查受试者眼球前后段,用Schiotz眼压计检查眼压(IOP)。对照组选自1个盘尾丝虫病低流行地区,并对其做相同的眼部检查。结果:共有360名来自盘尾丝虫病高流行地区的受试者接受检查,平均眼压为右眼18.1mmHg、左眼18.0mmHg。一个盘尾丝虫病低流行地区眼科门诊的100名非青光眼患者组成对照组,平均眼压为右眼21.8mmHg,左眼21.5mmHg。盘尾丝虫病高流行地区受试组的平均眼压比低流行地区对照组低3.5mmHg。结论:盘尾丝虫病有可能诱发睫状体轻微炎症反应,从而引起早期眼压降低。 · AIM: To compare the intraocular pressure distribution in onchocerciasis hyperendemic communities with the intraocular pressure distribution in a hypoendemiccommunity.· METHODS: Subjects were selected from 2 hyperendemic communities through multistage cluster random sampling. The anterior and posterior segments were examined. The intraocular pressure (IOP) was measured with Schiotz tonometer. Control subjects were drawn from a hypoendemic community and were assessed similarly.· RESULTS: There were 360 subjects examined from the hyperendemic community. The mean IOP was 18.1mmHg for the right eye and 18.0mmHg for the left eye. A total of 100 randomized non-glaucoma patients drawn from an eye clinic in a hypoendemic community constituted the control. The mean IOP was 21.8 mmHg for the right eye and 21.5mmHg for the left eye. The mean IOP in the hyperendemic community was 3.5mmHg lower than that in the hypoendemic community.· CONCLUSION: Onchocerciasis probably induces a low grade inflammation in the ciliary body, which leads to a lowering of IOP in the early stages.·
