摘要
"以"是古汉语中常见的虚词,不但出现频率高,且用法复杂。然其发展的轨迹尚未被完全揭示,特别是由动词到介词的发展过程还有不明之处,这主要是因为在传世文献中"以"的动词用例相对较少,且一直不被注意。甲骨文、金文为我们提供了"以"字的早期用例,对其进行调查探讨不但可以帮助我们了解"以"字的早期应用情况,且可为探明该字的引申虚化过程提供佐证。
The word '以' is very commonly used in ancient Chinese for it appeared at a high rate and had very complicated usages. But the trace of the development of the meaning of the word wasn't fully discovered, especially the phenomenon of the comparatively rare appearance of '以' as a verb in the classical texts was seldom noticed which caused the unclearness of the development from a verb to a preposition of the word. Through the profound study into the usages of '以' in the Oracle and JIN WEN which offered us the early examples, we can make further understanding of the early usages of '以' and provide evidences for the process of the change toward functional words by means of extending.
