从MIT看中国高校通识教育的发展策略 被引量:22

How to Develop General Education in China Taking MIT for Reference

摘要 我国社会主义现代化建设正在高速发展,社会需要博大精深并且具有创新思维的新型人才。“精深”的专业型人才,只有在接受全面的通识教育之后,才能“博大”,才能更具有创新思维,才能适应社会环境的快速变化,才能适应社会多种职业的需求。高等院校作为培养高级人才的场所,其通识教育能否顺利的实施与发展,就显得格外重要。本文从美国麻省理工学院通识教育的发展历程入手,来探讨中国高校通识教育的发展策略。 With the rapid development of the socialism construction of China, the society is in urgent need of creative talents with extensive and intensive knowledge. General education is imperative to cultivate creative professionals who can adapt to the rapid changes of the social situation and meet the demands of many occupations. As a result, it is especially important to effectively carry out general education in universities of China. On the base of research of the evolution of general education in MIT, this paper proposes possible policies and approaches to develop general education for Chinese higher education.
