This paper presents the study of the latency behavior of the Linux OS. The authors identity that the scheduler latency is the major cause of Linux OS' non-real-time. This paper first analyzes the mechanism of Linux scheduler, and then describes the specific design and implementation of its improvement. Finally, the simulation results and the estimation are represented.
