In her novel Sula, Morrison aims to reveal the process of self-identification and struggle of the black people, especially the black women by means of presenting the loss of spiritual and material home yard and meanwhile to point out the difficulty in their female consciousness revival, presenting a unique analysis of the female and racial problems from the feminine perspective.
