MEASUREMENT OF AND REFLECTION ON THE MEDICAL PAPERS PUBLISHED BY 2004 NOBEL PRIZE LAUREATES

本文利用国际权威数据库,根据科学计量学方法,从发表论文数量统计和引文分析两个方面,通过对2004年诺贝尔生理或医学奖获得者科技论文进行测度,对顶级医学科学家发表论文数量与质量、医学科学活动规律、项目研究过程和相互合作等进行了辩证的分析与思考,以为我国杰出医学科学家的培养和早出诺贝尔奖级研究成果提供参考。

In this study, we measured the medical papers published by the Nobel Prize laureates of 2004 by referring to an international authoritative data base and applying literature metrology on the basis of the number of their publications and our analysis of the quotations used in them. We analyzed and reflected on the quantity and quality of the medical publications turned out by these top - ranking scientists, patterns of their medical scientific investigations, processes of their research projects, and the mutual cooperation in their work. We hope this study will serve to facilitate the cultivation of distinguished medical scientists and early introduction of Nobel Prize - level researches in China.
