论北京高等教育的协调发展

On the Coordinated Development of Higher Education in Beijing

北京高等教育已有相当规模,但在结构、管理体制及运行机制等方面存在着与社会主义市场经济发展不适应、不协调的问题。因此,北京高等教育的发展必须要坚持协调发展观,在遵从教育规律的同时,注重与经济社会的协调发展。同时,北京高等教育的功能定位及发展目标要与市场经济相协调,人才供给要与市场经济的需求相协调,研发功能要与市场经济建设相协调,运行及管理体制要与市场经济的效率性及竞争性相协调。

Despite the large size, the development of higher education in Beijing is still suffering the inadaptability and disharmony with the development of socialist market economy in terms of structure, management system and operational mechanism. In this sense, the development of higher education in Beijing must adhere to the viewpoint of coordinated development, i. e. the coordinated development of both higher education and economy-based society must be emphasized, while observing the objective laws of educational development. In addition, the functions and objectives of higher education in Beijing should be kept in harmony with the development of market economy and the social demand for talent, the research capacity of universities and colleges in Beijing must meet the construction needs of market economy, and the operational and management system of universities and colleges must be adapted to the pursuance of efficiency and competition of the market economy.
