大陆、香港两地网络词汇翻译与译名统一

网络语言以其简洁、形象、隐喻化的特征在英、汉语中都占有重要的一席。然而,大陆、香港两地由于语言习惯不同,使用不同的网络词汇汉译。本文总结了两地在翻译网络隐喻词汇时不同的处理方法,分析了形成不同译名的原因,提出了三条建议性原则,以期规范网络用语译名。

Computer terminology, characterized by is wide use of metaphors, amounts to tremendous part in both English and Chinese. However, due to their respective language habits, people in mainland vs. in Hong Kong use different Chinese translations of some words. This paper, on basis of summing up the different methods employed by translators on both sides respectively, presents three suggestive translation principles in hope that Chinese computer terminology translation will be standardized.
