摘要
上下义理论是重要的语义理论之一,在英语教学中具有很大的指导意义。阅读理解在英语教学中占有重要的位置,主观题型又是难点所在。主观题型中需要进行概括和总结的这一特点又和上下义关系理论的特点相吻合。本文尝试利用上下义理论来指导英语的阅读理解教学。
Hyponymy theory is an important semantic theory. It plays a significant role in English teaching. Reading comprehension is one of main tasks of English teaching and examination. At the same time, subjective questions are big difficulties of reading comprehension. But subjective questions and hyponymy theory share the same characteristic,which is to generate the main idea and draw conclusions. This thesis mainly discusses how to use hyponymy theory to guide the English reading comprehension teaching.
