摘要
本文描写分析吴语崇明方言非常繁复的指示词系统,包括6个单音基本指示词(其中ki带有冠词作用),7个复合基本指示词,一个单音程度指示词和一个方式指示词,众多的处所、时间指示词,说明它们的句法特点、语义范畴和主要用法,总结有关现象对汉语及汉语史指示词研究的参考作用。最后指出崇明话指示词所体现的人类语言共性。
This paper describes the complicated system of demonstratives in the Chongming Wu dialect, which contains 6 monosyllabic basic demonstratives (of which, ki-can function as an article), 7 compound basic demonstratives, 1 monosyllabic degree demonstrative, 1 manner demonstrative, and numerous locative and temporal demonstratives. It analyzes the syntactic behavior, semantic features and main usages of these words, and discusses how these phenomena can throw light on the study of demonstratives in Chinese in general. Finally, the paper shows that the demonstratives in the Chongming dialect in fact well observe language universals in many aspects.
