The Review of European Ecological Literature in the Romantic Period of the 19th Century

“回归自然”是19世纪上半叶浪漫主义文学的主题之一,生态文学也因此在这一时期得以崛起。但是,并非所有赞美,描绘自然的文学作品都属于生态文学。通过对具体作家作品的比较,对生态文学的内涵的辨析,以实现对这一时期出现的欧美重要的生态作家的梳理和概述。

Returning to Nature' is one of the romantic literary terms in the early period of 19th century. And thus the ecological culture is burgeoning in this period. But not all the literature praising and depicting nature belongs to the ecological literature. The comparison is made between the works of ecological literature to clarify the connotation of such literature and to make the review of such writers in Europe and America during this period.
