摘要
在空间数据库和地理信息系统中,方向关系描述空间数据对象之间的空间顺序关系,构成了重要的用户查询类。然而对方向关系的形成及有效处理所做的工作较少。本文在综合相关知识的基础上,主要讲述二维物体方向关系的定义、基于MBRs表示空间物体间的方向关系以及基于R树对方向关系进行检索三个问题。
Direction relations describe order in space and constitute an important class of user queries in SDBMS and GIS. However, little work has been done on the formalization and efficient processing of such relations. In this paper we define direction relations which are presented by MBR approximations between two-dimensional objects, at the same time direction relations are retrieved using R-tree.
