The Challenge of Aging and Measures to the Medicare System

中国已经进入老龄化社会。老龄化对社会保障制度,特别是医疗保险制度会产生更大的需求和压力,主要表现在老龄化使医疗保险基金的供给减少,同时使医疗保险基金支出增加。因此,对人口老龄化问题必须给予高度重视,采取一系列行之有效的措施来应对老龄化的挑战,使医疗保险制度可持续发展。

China has been one of the aging countries. Aging brings social security system, especially Medicare system more demand and pressure, which makes Medicare system fund reduce and payment increase. Therefore we should pay much attention to this problem and adopt a series of measures to the challenge and make the Medicare system continuable.
