摘要
网络管理在今天迅速发展的网络环境中是一个关键方面,传统的集中式管理方法在可扩展性、可靠性、灵活性方面存在一定的不足.网管站派遣移动代理到各被管节点上去收集数据和执行网管操作,这样可以减少网络上不必要的中间数据传输,从而可以明显地节省网络带宽并减小网络延迟.通过移动代理将管理智能分布到网元,降低了网管平台的开销和网络负荷,可改善网管系统的可扩展性.文章探讨了采用移动代理解决网络管理中存在服务器性能瓶颈和负载平衡问题的方法.
Network management is a critical issue in today′s rapidly changing network environment.Centralized network management frameworks suffer from problems such as insufficient scalability,reliability,and flexibility.Manager dispatches mobile agent to managed nodes to get data or execute tasks.So there is no need to bring intermediate data across the network,and thus a significant amount of network bandwidth may be saved and communication delay can be avoided.Manager flexibly distributes the management intelligence to the network element,this can reduce computation of the management platform and load on the network,it improves the scalability of network management system.In this paper,mobile agent (MA) is used in network management,and method of solving server performance bottle-neck and load balancing is discussed.
