Postage Stamps in Sichuan-Shaanxi Revolutionary Base

随着川陕革命根据地各项工作的全面深入开展,以及邮电业务的逐步增加和苏区人民群众通信的需求,根据地赤色邮政机构逐步开始了发行邮票的工作。但时至今日,还未见确切报导在集邮者手中或民间拥有贴川陕革命根据地邮票的实寄封,从而使得“川陕革命根据地邮票”发行史实成为广大集邮者长期待解的大疑事,因为它是革命史料中和历史文物中的一件求记求取的要事,值得广大川陕苏区及集邮研究者对其进行考证、发掘,使其得以抢救,能载入史册为荣。

With the deep development of Sichuan-Shaanxi Revolutionary Base in all aspects, the red postal agency in the base becomes to issue stamps for the gradual increase of postal service and people’s communication requirement. To date, however, it has not definitely been reported that the real envelops with stamps are kept in stamp collectors or folkmen. Therefore, it has been a problem for the collectors to give evidence of the history of stamps issue. It is a matter for recording in the historical materials and relics and worth investigating and unearthing so that historical materials at this period can be remedied and complemented.
