Innovation of Volunteering Service in the Chinese Coastal Cities and Its implication for the societal transformation of China --A Case Study in Shenzhen City

大陆第一个志愿团体———深圳市义务工作联合会的发展对社会转型具有重要的意义,包括志愿服务的协调功能、培育功能、扶持功能等。志愿服务的创新发展包括法制创新、体制创新、服务创新和网络创新。这些经验不仅对中国内地发展志愿服务具有借鉴价值,而且成为全世界义务工作发展中的一个特色,具有参考意义。

Development of the volunteering service witnessed in the first volunteer group of the Chinese mainland---Shenzhen association of volunteer service is extremely significant to the societal transformation of China. It is being characterized with the functions of coordination, training, and support among others. Its innovation of service includes those of legal system, institution, service, and network. All of these experiences are not only referential to the volunteer service development in the inner areas of China, but also particularly suggestive to the volunteering service in the world.
