On the Implied Meaning of “Changing Language Form” of Zhuangzi

“卮言”是《庄子》“内篇”特有的语言表达形式和思想形式。它由片断组合而成,体现了一种旁逸跳跃、汪洋恣肆的语言风格,呈现了“内篇”各篇的思想脉络,是其自我不断否定和超越的思想过程的记录。它与先秦其他诸子作品的经验结论性的思想形式不同,是汉民族尚未开掘出来的思想资源。它与西方后现代主义理论在外表上相似,但实质不同,因为其思想流变的过程正是为了寻求本质意义。

The “changing language form” is a special kind of language expression and way of thinking in the “Neipian” of Zhuangzi. It is composed of fragments. It reflects a natural and unrestrained language style, a record of the thinking process of constant self-negation and self-transcendence, presenting its ideas of each essay from the “Neipian” in a clear and logical way. It is different from other schools of thought in the pre-Qin days in the form of thought.It is the resource of thought which has not been dug up in the Chinese nation. It is similar to the western post-modernist theory by features, but different in nature, because the process of change in thought is just to seek the true meaning.
