The Application of Non-disk Workstation Technology in IT Education

针对信息技术教育硬件条件不足,阐述无盘工作站技术的原理、优势及使用方法.以此说明无盘工作站技术在信息技术教育中能够减轻或消除目前资金投入不足造成的压力,而且这一技术模式的运用对中国贫困地区信息技术教育的发展有一定的借鉴和帮助作用.用此技术可建立多媒体教室、电子阅览室、局域网等,并可满足CAI和中小学信息技术教育课程大纲的要求.

In view of the deficienies of the hardware facilities in IT education,this paper elaborates the theory,the advantages and the usage of the non-disk workstation. All these illustrate that the non-disk technology can reduce and eliminate the pressure caused by the insufficient investment in IT education, and the application of non-disk technology has its function of adoptive and helpful in the IT education of impoverished regions in our country. Through using non-disk technology,we can establish multi-media classroom,electronic reading-room and local area network,etc.We can also satisfy the requirement of CAI and the course programme of primary and middle schools' IT education.
