The history and actuality of cooling water system in the Steelmaking Factory of XJBY Iron and Steel Group Company are introduced. The existent problems of former design of cooling water system of LF-25t ladle refining furnace apparatus are analyzed. The renovation meet the requirements of cooling the refining furnace apparatus and can save the water resource thus obtain the obvious economic benefit.
